Q: What are the reservation office hours?
A: Our professional and friendly reservation agents are available from 7:00 am to 9:00 pm daily to assist you with your travel needs. For those calling after hours, there is an automated service that monitors the phones and a reservation agent will get back to you the following morning.
Q: Are reservations required?
A: Yes, reservations are required. For guests wishing to travel without a confirmed reservation, we suggest arriving at our Anaheim terminal or at one of our Las Vegas pick-up hotels a half hour prior to the scheduled departure time to purchase your ticket pending availability.
Q: How is a reservation made?
A: You have the option of making the reservation on-line on this website, or you can call the reservation line at 877-610-7870 and have a reservation agent take down your reservation over the phone. A credit card is required when making the reservation.
Q: Do you have to confirm the reservation?
A: Yes, you must confirm your reservation 48 hours prior to the date of travel. Confirm online now.
Q: What are the forms of payment accepted?
A: Lux Bus America accepts cash, traveler’s checks, and any major credit card including: Visa, Master Card, American Express, and Discover. The only form of payment not accepted is personal checks.
Q: Are discounts offered?
A: Discounts are offered to passengers upon joining our Lux Club loyalty program. Club members receive discounted fares, as well as access to the Lux Bus America Club newsletter which contains discount coupons and special packages. Finally, Lux Bus America runs monthly specials that can be accessed on the Lux Bus America website.
Q: Can I book tours or hotels?
A: Yes, we offer tours and hotel accomodations at many of our destinations. Ask your reservationist, or book oniline. We will forward any special information to the hotel that you would like sent with your reservation. Room type cannot be guaranteed and is based on availability and on a first-come-first-served basis.
Q: Is there an age requirement when booking hotel packages?
A: Yes, lead passenger must be of age with valid identification at the time of check in. Las Vegas and Anaheim require an adult 21 years of age or older, 18 for San Diego properties. Please contact our offices directly if you have questions about a particular property.
Q: What is the cancellation or change policy?
A:Your credit card will be charged in full at the time of booking. You have up to 24 hours before the scheduled departure to cancel or change your reservation and be refunded. To make a cancellation or change, please call our reservation line at 877-610-7870 and speak to one of our reservation agents between the hours of 7 am and 9 pm. If you do not call before the 24 hour deadline, you will be charged for your reservation.
Q: What is our refund policy?
A: Refunds will not be issued for delays due to weather, traffic or mechanical issues. A rain check or credit may be issued when appropriate.
Q: What is the baggage policy?
A: Each passenger is allowed two pieces (2) of luggage plus one (1) carry on. Any additional checked bags will be subject to a $10 fee. Baggage fees can be paid for on the day of travel by cash or credit card. Please contact LuxBus America directly with any questions you may have regarding our baggage policy.
Q: Is smoking allowed on board?
A: No, Federal rules prohibit smoking on board. As a courtesy, our coaches make one smoke and stretch stop mid-trip in Barstow.
Q: Are pets allowed on board?
A: No, pets are not allowed on the coach.
Q: Is alcohol permitted on board?
A: No, Alcohol is not allowed to be brought on board the coach. However, Lux Bus America does serve complimentary beer and wine during the transfer to Las Vegas.
Q: Are children allowed to travel on Lux Bus America?
A: Yes, Lux Bus America is the safest and most convenient way to travel between Anaheim, California and Las Vegas, Nevada for everyone. Children under the age of 3 are able to ride for free if they are on an adult’s lap during the transfer. A child over the age of 3 will be charged the standard fare. We also welcome unescorted minor children (15-17 years old) with the written consent of a parent or guardian, please advise agent at time of booking. Q: Can I purchase a ticket for a friend or family member?
A: Yes, If you would like to purchase a ticket for a friend or family member and you will not be traveling with them, we need a credit card authorization form on file authorizing your charge. Since the card holder will not be present at check in, this form must be turned into our office 48 hours prior to the departure. Please click here if you would like to download our credit card authorization form. If you would like to purchase a ticket for a friend or family member who does not yet have a set travel date, consider purchasing a travel gift certificate. These can be purchased by calling our offices directly. Please be advised, that we will still need a credit card authorization from if purchasing a travel gift certificate.
Q: What services are provided on the Las Vegas
A: Lux Bus America is proud to offer a first class ride on board the Las Vegas Service. Our coaches are equipped with spacious leather seating, DVD players with large screen monitors, wireless internet, seat back tray tables and cup holders. An On-board coach attendant (Tuesday, Thursday & Sunday) is available to help make your ride more comfortable. Complimentary beverages and light snacks, pillows and blankets are available upon request. Movies are also played on the trip for your enjoyment.
Q: What amenities are offered on the Las Vegas Service?
A: Lux Bus America offers limited complimentary beverage and snack service inclusive of: Water, Coffee, Orange Juice, Coke®, Diet Coke®, Sprite®. The complimentary lights snacks include: chips, pretzels, granola bars and cookies. or For our Las Vegas bound passengers, we also offer breakfast for purchase. All items must be pre-paid in advance. Q: What kinds of movies are shown on the Las Vegas Service?
A: Lux Bus America features sophisticated entertainment system. Full length feature films are shown on overhead video screens. The films are full length, specially licensed, new releases, and are edited for general audiences.
Q: Is there a restroom on board the Las Vegas Service?
A: Yes, there is a restroom on board the full size coach. (Hotel Shuttle Service excluded)
Q: Does Lux Bus America assign seating?
A: All shuttles and day tours have open seating. Lux Bus America assigns seats to all of our Las Vegas at the time of booking. Any special requests must be made by contacting our offices directly and are a request only. Seating is on a first come first serve basis. Special accommodations will be made for our disabled travelers.
Q: Is there a main terminal where you can catch the
Las Vegas Service?
A: No, we only pick up from select locations in Anaheim and Los Angeles.
Q: I live in Anaheim, can I be picked up from a hotel?
A: No. Unfortunately we can only pickup registered guests at our Orange County hotels.

Q: Where do you meet the Las Vegas Service at Harrah's Hotel
A: The Pick-up and drop-off location at the Harrah’s is at the East Tour Lobby. The address for the Harrah’s is: 3475 Las Vegas Blvd. South. Coaches pick-up and drop-off immediately across from the taxi area, making this the best location for transfers to alternate hotels.
Q: Where do you meet the Las Vegas Service at the California
Hotel and Casino?
A: The pick-up and drop off location at the California is off 1st Street between Ogden and Stewart Ave. The address for the California is: 12 East Ogden Ave.
Q: Does Lux Bus America operate in all
kinds of weather?
A: Yes, depending on road conditions and/or closures, Lux Bus America’s state-of-the-art modern motor coaches are designed to travel in temperatures that exceed 120 º F to below freezing, comfortably and safely. Our coaches are meticulously maintained daily.
Q: Are courtesy pick-ups and drop-offs provided at hotels?
A: Yes, courtesy pick-up and drop-off services are provided at select Orange County and Los Angeles Hotels. The Orange County service area includes hotels in the following locations: Anaheim Resort Area, Buena Park, and Garden Grove. The Los Angeles service area includes hotels in the following locations: Beverly Hills, Downtown Los Angeles, Hollywood, LAX area, Santa Monica and West Hollywood.
Q: Do you offer a direct transfer?
Between Anaheim and Los Angeles: Service between Anaheim and Los Angeles area hotels utilizes our 31 passenger mini coaches. Our driver will assist you with your luggage and welcome you aboard our luxury mini bus for your direct transfer.
Between Anaheim and Las Vegas: Service between Anaheim and Las Vegas departs our Orange County terminal located at the Anaheim Gardenwalk. Pick up and drop off service is offered from key Anaheim area hotels. Before departure, you'll check in with a Lux Bus America representative who will issue your boarding pass and any other tour or travel documents necessary. Our driver and on board attendant will assist you with your luggage and welcome you aboard our luxury coach for your direct transfer to Las Vegas.
Passengers traveling or returning to Anaheim from Las Vegas will check in at one of our Las Vegas terminals. Upon arrival, your driver will greet you and load your luggage for your direct transfer to Anaheim.
Between Los Angeles and Las Vegas: Service between Los Angeles and Las Vegas connects through our Orange County terminal located at the Anaheim Gardenwalk. Pick up and drop off service is offered from key Los Angeles area hotels, utilizing our 31 passenger mini coaches. Upon arrival in Anaheim, you'll check in with a Lux Bus America representative who will issue your boarding pass and any other tour or travel documents necessary. Our driver and on board attendant will assist you with your luggage and welcome you aboard our luxury coach for your direct transfer to Las Vegas.
Passengers traveling or returning to Los Angeles from Las Vegas will make a brief connection through our Anaheim Gardenwalk Terminal. Upon arrival, your specific driver will greet you and load your luggage for your return transfer to your LAX area hotel.

A: The driving distance is approximately 265 miles. The driving time is approximately 4 ½ hours, depending on variables such as traffic and weather conditions. The terrain is high desert country. We traverse three mountain peaks, each of which is over 4,000 feet high and through the Great Mojave Desert, which is the highest and fifth largest desert in the world.

A: The driving distance is approximately 300 miles with a connection in Anaheim. The driving time is approximately 5 ½ hours, depending on variables such as traffic and weather conditions. A: The driving distance is approximately 40 miles. The driving time is approximately 1 hour, depending on variables such as traffic and weather conditions.
Q: How long is the break in Barstow?
A: Lux Bus America takes a break at Barstow Station both going and coming from Las Vegas. The break is typically 20 minutes but may be adjusted to ensure on time arrivals. Your onboard coach attendant will advise you of your scheduled departure time in Barstow. We request that all passengers please be onboard at that time.
Q: Do you offer promotional codes or discounts?
A: Yes. We often run specials on our products and services. Coupons and specials are limited time offers and may expire without notice. Please check our current bus & travel specials for more information.
Q: How do you redeem a coupon code?
A: Promotional or coupon codes appear at the top of the web page. You can enter them at payment on our checkout page.
